Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals

If Anderson .Paak would only stand still for one minute, the world would be at his feet... but in recent years this musical centipede has been happily skipping back and forth from mic to drums and piano on stages across the world; in between performances he hip hops into the studio to record another album. Take the brilliant ‘Oxnard’, for instance, an album where guest artists like Dr. Dre, Kendrick, Snoop Dogg and Q-Tip try to steal the show. Completely useless, of course, because .Paak is the show. He is a drumming, rapping, soul-singing and piano playing hip hop talent extraordinaire. Add the fantastic musical support of The Free Nationals to the mix and all of a sudden your festival summer becomes extra funky, sultry and ridiculously sexy. Yes, Lawd!
