Biographie

With tracks like ‘I Wanna Be Your Girlfriend’ and ‘Summer Depression’ the music of 20-year-old Marie Ulven reads like the diary of an angst-ridden teenager struggling with relationships, doubts and  (homo)sexuality. The Norwegian singer/songwriter concocts her dreamy indie pop songs on her own but on stage Girl in Red is a five-piece unit - and a well-oiled one at that.
