British songwriter & electronic musician Michael Taylor deserves a pat on the back for finding the sweet spot between electronics, nu-R&B and indie. In three words: blues with beats. A find like that just had to result in a good record deal, with 4AD, for instance. SOHN hasn’t reached the same level of fame as label mates Future Islands or The National but he’s getting there.
