They still rehearse in a shed in a friend’s back yard but meanwhile this Australian trio are also touring with Queens of the Stone Age, a privilege they owe to their perfect combination of pub punk and excellent songs. Take ‘Smoko’, for instance, their ode to the smoke break. Simple bass line, skintight drums and a high-octane chorus that immediately brings Cosmic Psychos to mind.
