As the crow flies, Bree and Cologne are less than one hundred kilometres apart. Maybe that’s why Fornet has some Can influences. Still, the Limbomania winners’ post punk also conjures echoes of Joy Division and The Fall. And the best thing of all? They prove that it’s still possible to sound fresh and frolicky within the genre. Promising talent.
