IF THE FUTURE ISN'T BRIGHT, AT LEAST IT'S COLOURFUL | MURIELLE SCHERRE & JAN VERSTRAETEN
MOBILE ACT
At Pukkelpop designers Murielle Victorine Scherre and Jan Verstraeten will strike off in search of black band shirts. They will photograph festival-goers willing to donate their bands shirt to have them made into a snuggie. The snuggie (with the slogan ‘If the future isn’t bright, at least it’s colourful’) will be made by the staff at social enterprise Bewel from Hasselt. The portraits will then be used for a photo report in the new exhibition building Z33 in Hasselt. This action is a warm appeal to hand in your discarded black band shirts at Z33 by Friday 20 September at the latest and give them a second life.
